Military Decoration?

I dug this in a yard today. Hoping someone can satisfy my curiosity and tell me what it is. It's approx. 1" x 2". To me it almost looks like some sort of military decoration. But I could definitely be wrong. Thanks.

It's not military, I'd say it's a decorative piece for a belt or maybe a hatband.

I agree, not military. It's very art deco, likely from about the 1930's.

I agree with Ken, I think it's a buckle for a hat band. It's definitely Art Deco, and would be right at home on a ladies' Flapper hat.
