🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Military badge ID

Hi,
Curious if anyone can help me ID this? Looks similar to some cavalry corps badges I have seen, but nothing quite the same (though I could be overlooking something, I don’t have a ton of experience with military badges) Thanks!

Well this is a perplexing one. While the crossed sabers are associated with the Cavalry, I have never seen them superimposed over disc like this, in US military use. Doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Could be a fraternal item, or just creative licensing (Fantasy piece).

Crossed sabres with shield may indicate "Calvary Guard" for a high ranking officer. I'd guess Civil War era.

wow, the starburst background Dragoon---but the crossed sword did not show up until the 1840 ?
so I how no clue

One thing I noticed the crossed sabers are wider than you normally see in US Military Cavalry badges.

Also zooming in, I noticed the guard is 3 dimensional (Actual spacing between the parts. While an US Military used one doesn't have that.
