Military Descriptions

Goat smellin' ass.

I remember "ate up like a soup sandwich".

My Father used to call us boys "Ditty Boppers" He started calling us that when we lived on an OP's base (listening post), that had one of those "elephant cage" antennas.

Are there any old "ditty boppers" here on Tnet?

Another funny one I just heard today. I was telling my brother (a former "Eagle Keeper"), about a guy I know that worked on B52's. My brother said; Oh! He used to work on "BUFF's" . He told me he should know what that means!

BUFF = "BIG UGLY FAT F#@$%&*S" Pretty good description for the 52's, I'd say.

Anyone here work on BUFF's ?

I worked around BUFFs for a long long time... man I love those planes!

I was never called any names - but there was a guy who marched like a mexican
jumping bean... the TI called his "Be-Boppin Bob"

YOU have not " earned " the name men... So LET"S GO LADIES !!!!

You call that a push up ???? My dead grandmother would TRULY shaaaammmee you !!!!!

" This is my rifle and this my gun ... this for is shooting and the this is for fun..... "

PLATOON..... FORWARD..... WHO TOLD YOU TO MOVE !!!!! As you take a foot forward....

Or a variety of the one above was he would say Platoon... Forward... and then just wait.. as you lean forward, the DI would casually walk up to you and say quietly " I'll let you fall on your face "

we had the old 2 story barracks and NOONE walked in the middle and the DI " better " be able to see his face in that shine....

barracks.webp

Enjoy your Turkey day guys and gals
