First dig in backyard on what will probably be my last hunt at the castle house. What remains is just too junky at this point.

Interestingly I found the same insignia in the front yard during a previous hunt but much smaller, like hat brass.

And some other finds posted too.

2 at on place that is sweet this is the same as your other one but this is for male uniform , hook looks to be part of a dog chain

Thanks... any idea what part of the uniform this would have gone? Pin? Medal?

Here are both insignia's together. Smaller one found in front yard; larger in back. Someone helped me ID the smaller one as a collar pin, and larger as a cap plate. Both circa 1903-05. Thanks Daniel!
