Someone very recently found a ring that looks just like yours but I cannot find the post... I believe it's a genaric military ring that is (was) available through post/base exchanges probebly since the 1940 till present. Your's is obviously well worn like Crusader mentions in his post that follows...

I bet someone else can find that other post, or PBK can speak to it if he sees this.

I posted a ring that looked similar to that one.Found it mding at an old Army air base WW2 here in CA.

Sometimes the marks on the inside are just as important as the design outside. Anything in there?
