A little bigger than a quarter..

I believe it would have to date between 1905-1924, given that it has crossed Enfield rifles, rather than muskets which were used in the periods before and after this date span.

Yeah, I was thinking WW1 era looking at the back. It looks like it had a screw type for that time.
