Milk, cheese, eggs, and..............SILVER!!

Went to the supermarket to pick up some things for dinner and noticed that they have a branch of the local bank in there. I went up to the teller and asked if she had any halves, and she had 44 of them. When I got home and checked the little baggie she gave me there was 4 90% and 7 40% inside.

Not to bad for a trip to the store.

That is great news. I have overlooked the little grocery store branches, I am not sue why, actually tried the first one today. It was a strikeout; but after seeing your post, at least the ones where we shop will be regular stops going forward!!

I overlooked those also till last week at my walmart the branch in the store they asked me if I wanted a pen then asked where I bank took pen then told them where I bank letting them know I really wasnt gonna change. I then asked if they had halves they said heck yes 50.00 worth . Since I didnt have it i used thier atm machine which charged me 2 dollars and something lol. Anyway out of 50 dollars there was one 1964 , a non silver proof and 11 40 percenters. Plus I kept thier pen lol.

I don't shop at Walmar if I can help it, but I found my first and only '70 D at the small bank inside. The only half dollar they had.
