That's for the LAST late minute order. Not the first. And it's only 8 weeks off. My digging season is coming to a halt fast. Grass is dang it turning green here already. March 11 is beginning of daylight savings time. Robins are back. Frogs and snake and bugs are out. Oh the horror of it all.

By may the equinox will be old news lol. Minelab may announce a new detector before they actually fill the back orders for the NOX. This has been some rollout by minelab! Drop a detector from a plane and proceed to advertise and hype up the machine to never before seen heights and then tell the world you didn't expect the demand. Derp derp!

And tick off your customers and still watch them climb over each other to get a detector. Yeah, ML is REALLY regretting this one. I wonder if this experience will make them stop, think, and change their ways....naahhh!

so I am one of those guys that got in on the second Cabelas order on the 20th, only to have the "its delayed" email after 48hrs.
so I just received this message today..

Dear XXX
I have good news for you. The vendor received a small shipment that are able to fill a few of our orders with. Your metal detector will be shipping out to you in the next couple of days. Thank you so much for your patience.

Congrats I've been hoping for one of these messages. What time did you order? I ordered in the afternoon so my hopes are fairly low.

It's here and it's charged, but I won't be able to get out until Friday Just watching vids and learning functions here at home. Man this thing is so stinkin' light. I've been swinging an MXT for years, so the weight upgrade alone is worth it for me.

You should have a great time with it congrats. I think that even though the MXT weighs a pound more than the Equinox, the MXT is one of the best balanced machines I have ever used. Would be interested in your take on Equinox weight and balance once you've had a chance to swing it for awhile. Thanks.
