Minelab Excal help wanted

Does anyone have experience with the excal programming. Iam trying to build a tone recognition system that can be used to identify targets . My hearing is going and its getting harder to identify sounds . If any of you have any suggestions I d love to hear from you. Thanks

Thanks for the information. I do have a cd and find it very useful. Iam actually trying to find a way to take the audio signal and turn it into a number . My explorer has an led screen that reads out the ferrous and conductivity numbers. We have taken a small sample of audio from the cd to check it out but it seems the main way in object identification are in variations of tone. If we can see frequency changes for lets say gold rings then we could assign a number to it or a blue led for that matter. Any thoughts
