So I have noticed after some of my water hunts, a little bit of water has been getting in by the battery. Not enough to stop the machine, but it looks like it's slowly doing some damage. Im using one rubber ring should I be using two?? What may be causing this issue? Any help would be great [emoji106]🏼! I always put oil on before I go out as well, right in these spots.

I prefer the RTV silicon to SEAL the cap and that shrink tubing. RTV wont just peal off like regular silicon will after awhile in the water..... which allows water to get past it. Joes right........ take that male plug apart you may need to clean those wires and put electric grease on them...... they could be the problem with salt water jumping the current causing an electrolysis like situation. A dab of water shouldnt cause that. Also swap the gasket you have on the charger for that one.
