Minelab repair center issues.

Well after a bit more than three weeks, I finally heard back from Minelab that they are way far behind due to a covid issue they had. If you send one in for repair expect a big delay. Great customer service though, just letting everyone know there's a delay.
 

I guess it's always good to have a spare machine when the Covid scourge hits home. Gary
 

yep I got the same story.sent mine in couple weeks ago.I called minelabs number and left messages for days before they called me back and told me were to send it.then sent it in to the repair place and left messages for days before I heard back from them. from talking to them although they couldn't tell me sounds like someone there may have covid.wish them all well.just got my equinox and love it.I would say if the problem with the machine is manageable use it and wait to send it in.

They really do. I'm not frustrated, hope all is well with them. Maybe a tiny bit more communication would have been nice, but not knowing what they are going through...not a big deal.
 

I'd sent my Excal in for pin point mods, been several years now. Being worthless (retired), I drove down to pick it up in person. Good danged folks down there!

Ok, I will say that the ABSOLUTE silence and lack of response other part is getting extremely annoying.
 

It's more frustrating is to send it in-get it back and the same issue was never resolved.......still p'd at the issue.
