Minelab Safari and E-Series Headphone Jack

Does the Minelab Safari utilize the universal 1/4" headphone jack or do they have their own version?

It's special. Most have a metal thread extending from the connector where it would be attached to a panel with nuts and washers.

These are shorter and don't have the thread sticking out that would be equal to the thickness of the case and rubber battery door.

You may be able to cut the thread off one and use it. Or maybe find a "special" one for chassis or panel mounting.
