miners sumpthin'?

[Pickpan]

Located a small miners camp and now have enough square nails to build my own camp. Anyone know what this is? It has rows of serrated edges. The middle 2 rows are smashed flat. Seems like maybe an opening to an oven or ?

Thank you Icewing! I found a horseshoe nearby as well. I appreciate your help.
