I stumbled upon a YouTube channel that may be of interest to those actively searching for Swift mines and what they may or might look like. This guy uses Lidar to locate pits and piles of tailings to find these old mines and sometimes he explores them. I found it interesting and just thought I would share the possible insight it may give. He finds silver/lead/iron/copper/gold mines of the Swift era mostly in the NorthEast. Enjoy!
