They are probably gold plated, so no. If they are actual gold, it would probably be worth it.

They are reproductions by a private mint. Most likely gold-plated. Note the size in relation to the size of the staple. These are unbelievably tiny and aren't worth 49 cents not to mention the current bid of $4.99
