Minie Ball ID

Got the rare opportunity today to metal detect in Columbia SC. My office is there but I live an hour and a half away. Tried a place on a hunch and after 2 hrs and a pocket full of junk later, I came away with these. Anybody got an id on the minie ball? It has a flat base. Sorry I don't have a caliper.

After searching for an hour, I'm thinking burnside. I'll pick up a caliper tomorrow and if its .54 cal, I think I might be right.
