Good find. The coat of arms is that used by the DuBarry company, founded by Richard Hudnut in New York City in 1903.

Originally, Hudnut made a fragrance named “DuBarry” in sachets and as eau de toilette which was so successful that he began adding it to items such as compacts and bar soaps as well as bath, face, and toilet powders. During the 1920s he expanded into general cosmetics and skincare products, eventually opening a store on Fifth Avenue and then a factory and laboratory in Paris, France in 1925 to meet the increasing demand.
 

Nice catch.
The mirrors are always broken in the compacts it seems.
