Ok, I'm finally caught up on recent finds video. I threw together several quick hunts/finds to make this one. Now it's time to get back out there and recover some more history (as soon as the rain stops).

Richard, good video & it's still amazing to me that a decent rain improves the soil conductivity as much as it does. Nice OLD finds my friend & good luck hunting the Commonwealth this fall. WTG, Q.

Old relics like that make videos worth watching. Great job again...you are blessed with great sites.

most guys wont go thru a link to view a vid - reason for low responses
they want to see pics - me personally - I can not open vids on my work computer
and at work is when I spend the most time on this forum
would love to see some pics if you have them

Thanks Quindy. Yes, it's been my experience that good moisture content in Valley soil makes a HUGE difference it the quality and depth of signals. It's amazing. Our area has seen +/- 10" of rain over the last 10 days, so we're in good shape for the season! And with the full moon phase over the last few days, I was hoping to get out to one of my new sites, but couldn't because of the rain.

Yes, Casper, I've already been admonished about that once this week. Sorry, I'm a slow learner. I've updated the original post with pics of the better finds. Thanks for the help!

Really educational,, I have never been on a civil war site hunt in the south but I really enjoy the information you guys share and the finds you make.

Thanks. The Civil War sites are special, but I enjoy the colonial stuff very much as well.

Thanks for the pics - Beautiful finds - keep up the good work
