Here are other finds from my yard. I am having a blast digging out some of the tokens, bottons and what evers. Not sure what all of these are from but do know what a couple are for.

The little ID plate has a number 4655-2 and could be from a tool box or piece of furniture. The plate with the lamb on it could be some kind of religious piece. I am sure the silver piece is from a utensil handle and is silver plated.

Not sure what the tube is. It looks to be copper and one end is flanged. The little round disk with the center piece reminds me of a buckle and was right around where I found the horse collar shield plate.

Some of the stuff from this yard IDs back to the late 1800 already. So it hard for me to ID a lot of it as I haven't done much relic hunting in the past. Thanks for any suggestions, you guys have been a great help so far with a lot of the stuff I can't ID.

The last is a hem/curtain weight (lead)

Is there any writing on the utensil handle?

Utensil handle might be a flattened valve stem from 1905 Model A Ford! Just a guess though....Nice finds...jgas

That's what I was thinking. I was curious if maybe it had the name Schrader on it.

At first I thought it was a valve stem also. Seem 100s of them in the plumbing business. But never seen any silver plated ones. No, No writing on it amd it cleaned up pretty good. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't from that era and from a car thou. About everything I have found has been in the 1800-1930 here. Except no silver coins so far.

Thanks for the input gang. Sorry for the late reply. I thought I had the post tags for replies.

I agree Looks Like Valve stem Cover

see if it Is Sliced at the Bottom
Like a Flattened Tube would Look

Yes it is Jeff. That is why I thought it was a utensil handle. Looks like something would slide into the bottom of it and then be crimped.

Is there a cemetery near where you found it. the lamb piece may be from a child's grave as they were used frequently to decorate the little one's final resting places.

My first thought to... The tag can also be associated with a burial....

Closes cemetary is about a mile away. I sure don't like thinking the person that owned this house years before me was a grave robber or stole these peices from a little childs grave stone.
