Last week, catfishterry traveled I-70 from St. Louis and met-up with me and we detected the Liberty Memorial and the J.C. Nichols Fountain in Kansas City. 8)
The Liberty Memorial was dedicated November 1, 1921. The J.C. Nichols fountain sits in the exclusive Plaza area.
Attached is a pic of catfish (on the right) & I (on the left) at the Liberty Memorial, a pic of the fountain, and a pic of my finds. One can say by looking at my belly, it's been a long winter!
I'm not sure how I'll be able to get into my speedo while in FL this summer!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we just had about an hour of detectin between the 2 sites. catfish's finds were comparable to mine. I was using my Whites Classic I.D. and Catfish detected with a Garrett Ace.
No rings, no gold chains, we really didn't find jack this time out but when ever one can swing a detector, it's a good time!
