Mixed feelings of the dowsing fenomena"

After being brought up for so many year with electronic metal detectors, you stumble upon this device that claims its position in your THing carear. I like many other sought out to try this device called the Anderson/Simmons depth rod. I was given 1 month of free testing if not your money back, that was many years back I feel cheated out the month went by so quick.I hardly had time to test it in the places I wanted, during the testing period I baited the chamber with silver dimes and all I got was rocks when cracked in half had a matice of silver glitters not knowing anything about gem or rock science pro I winded throwing them aside.I felt I commited a mistake in choosing the territory until one day I baited the chamber with the usual silver dimes and this time with a small 18kt. ring this time I dug out of 5 inches of dirt a rock with a golden glitter.I said to my self NAH! this is not real and as expected I tryed to crack this curious glittering stone and dumb me the half flew off and got lost and I never found it.Studying the remaining portion it had a very small like bath in golden patina like a 14kt ring the rest was deep grey with glitter.A shame mom threw away days after thinking it was more dumb rocks I had stuffed in my room before I had it analized "what a bummer".
I never got the saticefaction of digging any treasure except rocks.Bottom line I wish I had more time to use one find someone to trust me on lending me one of those Andersons and tell me where I went wrong.I personally don't like to go further than 6 inches in the ground but in the sandy beaches I would be more than a foot down if I have to. Or better yet that I could win a contest and have one for of my own. Thanks for reading my testimony I miss that depth rod.Att:Ralph
