Ok John, let's go through them one at a time. So I don't get mixed up.
Not being familar with MO typology, I am still learning.
If I had to hazzard a guess looking in my books I would say this is a Hopewellian point. I thought maybe a Dove at first (but the base just aint right. :icon_scratch:) I know Hopewellian culture was rife in your state, so?

Thanks hon.

Molly, it is hopewell. First one and you typed it. Ok Next

I have took time over this point. I think its a Ferry, its been reshaped losing its shoulders. I am just so unsure about this point. :icon_scratch: base looks like a Ferry..

It may be something a lot different. It looks apple creek to me, Mo style. Jmo. It was found with them. John

The last one for now. I wouldn't like to guess, it could have been broken & reground on the base? or could be whole.
I will post the other blade soon as I can.
Thanks John.

Molly. :)

Molly, the last Point is what we call Matanzas. It maybe something different to some one else, but we find a lot of these little guys. They do vary a little bit, but pretty much the same point(in the ones I've found) The first blade you showed was found smack dab in the middle of a small area in the field were I have picked my plummets up. I don't think its been reworked, because every blade i have found on this site are just like that one. The last blade is a creek find, from Nov08.

I kinda figured the last blade was a creek find, there are water marks on it.
Well Thanks John, it's great to learn new types.

Much appreciated.

Molly.
