Modded Minelab repairs

JFYI, anyone with a Minelab modified detector with aproblem. Always told Minelab wouldn’t service a modified unit. Last month my Woodymodded 4500 started having problems with a failing function switch. I contactedDetector Center in PA (814.283.4270) or Service@minelabamericas.com andgot a RMA#. Sent it off last Wednesday. They called this morning, they replacedboth switches as other one was a bit slow. 2 switches and ½ hour labor paid andit’s in return mail. Does not get any better than that!

For many years Minelab would not work on modified detectors, now they do.

I just got a call today saying a new screen was been installed along with two other fixes that were needed that would be under warranty, and that it’d be mailed back tomorrow. That’s Helpful, and thorough .!

I have sent things to there PA repair center. I can NOT BELIEVE the PROMPT service they DO !!! Thank you minelab !!!
