Modern or Old Bullet?

I was detecting private property near a Civil War battlefield when I found this bullet beside a tree next to a creek. The bullet does not appear to be rifled and is heavy. Thanks for reading and any input you may have. We found a few iron relics in the area where I found the bullet.
