My daughter in Dallas just text saying the power in her apartment is out and its getting mighty cold. She's got a lot of blankets and a big dog to keep her warm, she says.

Gonna be a lot a fleas looking for a warm body of what ever to hunker down in Texas I'm sure.

Well that's good.

Same thing is happening to lots of folks down here. 14+ hours with no power. Some use their stove. I haven't been hit but I helped others.
 

Two tornadoes touched down about 30 miles west of me today. All we got here was heavy rain, thunder and lightning.
 

We're expectin a bigger crowd of visitors here in the ski resort areas for Spring Break, as they'll all come here to get away from the winter weather down in Oklahoma and Texas, haha!

Winter normally ends in Early march. Just this last week we got the longest freeze in 30+ years. We sure took a toll though. Stores are still nearly empty as of now.
