A few coins, but nothing interesting. All this stuff was deep, even the coins. Very soft ground. I figure if I get all the iron objects out of the way, I might be able to find some silver...... in China. That second pic that looks like a iron potato chip, that's the second one I've found in 3 weeks.

Is the iron potato chip a buttplate?

I'm thinking it's got something to do with a plow. The small shovel looks like something you would clean a fireplace out with.

The potato chip looking piece looks like a garden tool. Nice digs

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures

Your potato chip is a plow point for a hand push plow. I spent many hours pushing one through my grandparents garden. It had one 18 inch steel wheel up front with two wooden plow handles and a light steel frame underneath that you attach the different plow points for different jobs. The one that you have would have been used to make a row to drop your seeds in. Another attachment had 4 or 5 thin points that were used to cultivate the garden. Cultivating broke up the soil in between the rows so water would absorb in and weeded at the same time.
