MonkeyBoy JR Pops out a Three Ringer!!!!!

I took my oldest, he is 10, out with me this afternoon to a spot that has produced a little bit of everything... in less then an hour we stumbled into a small patch of Civil War items.. I have already dug 75+ bullets out of the field.. some buttons etc... it is a 20+ acre field.. he has a Prizm IV and dug a three ringer at about 4 or 5 inches and a nice little flower button at 3" or so!!! Not bad!! I dug 3 bullets, an Eagle "I" cuff and a 2 piece button.. not too bad for two hours! Hmm.. time to fit him for my DFX and upgrade to the DFX 300??

Ha!! That's ok.. it all goes in the "common" collection until he hits 18!!! ;-)

Hmm... thanks!!! ;-) Actually.. no.. he got the short end.. looks like me.. and has his Mom's personality!! ;-) my younger... looks like her.. but is all me inside.. he is the firecracker around here!!! I hear you!! Matt got his first rifle for his birthday last year.. a 10/22... iron sights.. only out under my supervision... and his first swiss army knife... He has been with me a couple times before but he is finally starting to get the hang of it... can dig on his own.. his holes need a little work!! but doing great!!! Gees.. If I started digging at 10.. I'd have a couple hundred CW plates!!! He had no problem w/ the bullet.. but did chase the button around a bit.. but he found it... ;-) trouble i my 7 year old want to go now... so I need to rig up something for him... hipmount Prizm I guess.. thanks!!! His grand total so far is 3 bullets, one button and 5 good coins.. including a 1899 IH!!! Must be in the blood!!!
