Monster heartbreak

We had a 4” rain and I hit several spots surface hunting and came up with various stages of worked pieces but the killer one was this monster blade that rivals the biggest complete points I’ve found as far as current size. Who knows how big it was originally. Also fun to compare it to the recent tiny points from the same spot… already considering if it’s worth doing a more intensive search for the rest of it.

Don't feel bad. Finding anything in any condition is good in my book. At least you don't have to feel suspicious and face the criticism with all those spectacular perfect specimens seen at the trade events.

I’m hoping to go back and look in that area maybe move some leaf litter around or something and see if maybe the other part of it’s there but in my experience, I’ve only found a mate to a broken piece twice I think ever but it’s probably worth a look
