Here's some more that are lighter in color and made of different stones. Question: does anyone know what those 4 FSCN2203.webpDSCN2154.webp "false fingernail" looking thing's are around the large top arrowhead? And that bird looking piece below same arrowhead? Also some deer bone thingy?

I don't know but that is awesome the way you display them !!!!

The bone thingy lol those are bone awl and a bone pin but I'm no expert need better pics of the bird piece .....

Great looking display. I am not familiar with the types in your area. They sure are nice though!

Very nice finds and display:icon_thumleft:The bone is 2 awls and 1 pin like Painter said also like he said need better photos of bird looking stone to be able to tell anything about it. Great finds

Thanx's painterx7......now I'll have to go look up "awl" & "pin" to see what they are, sigh! Getting educated here! That bird thing pic is as good as it get's, have you looked at it in X3? Don't get any better I'm afraid. Thank you so much for your help, sincerely...dummy lol

Thank you also monsterrack! Like I say, the bird thingy don't get any better than in that pic, the 3xmag. pict. is as good as can be, sorry. Hey, does "monsterrack" mean you like deer? I just took a pic of two Mule deer bucks & one has a tiny tail, like a white tail, only smaller....odd?

I am a deer nut, I use that name because I invented, made and sold a deer feed block called monsterrack. It has everything to grow big horn racks on any type of animal that has antlers.

Yeah you are very welcome ;) I have learned a lot from Mr Rack myself and a few other good people on here well more than a few haha we only stop learning when we stop breathing nice finds ;)

Good question.......went to check...was thinking stone....as it's in the case & not easy to get to, by looking it does look like stone, kind of light orange color if that helps? Nice you invented the deer feed block!

hey hey Kat

i am thinking those 4 pieces are likely game pieces
that bird thing really makes me wonder and i am puzzled by it
the 3 bone pieces are perforating tools with many uses possible.....
in the dakotas the one in the center was used to make two awls by cutting or splitting it into two long pieces each about 6 inches long.....
....they were used and re-sharpened over and over until they became too short to use

you have some nice artifacts there.......something to always be proud of
