More Boring Ol' Copper, Now We Travel Overseas...
Well I made a couple more trips back to the "hunted out" site that has produced an 1800's coin every time I've visited.
That still holds true...
During the first trip I fit in a quick hunt before a storm hit and dug the IH pictured below.
It's "all barked up" but I was able to get a date off it... 1874.
During the next hunt I dug what I at first thought was an LC.
But after closer inspection... it turned out to be an 1843 1 Skilling Banco from Sweden, yah!
When was the last time one of these was dug in Upstate, NY
