More brokes

Creekside got me looking for a box of brokes in the garage. I dug out some of the heat treated stuff to show its nice color. Also notice the tip with the shell inclusion. That is common in Florida points made from Coastal Pains chert.

With deer season opening yesterday I will do some needful yard work and go back through my bowls to see how many broken ones I found this year. Leaves dropping, no rain and deer season. I need to do some painting anyway. Nice brokes
I’ve seen some take the broken ones and make art work with them like pictures.
