Returned home to N.J. from upstate New York to metal detect the nearby creekside woods again that has yielded loads of old buried relics. Found another old mason jar lid with intact white porcelain insert, 2 more old buckles, what I believe to be an old medicine bottle?, an old heavy 7 1/2 inch 'fiddle back' fork with the initials GCS followed by 2 hallmarks (if anyone can ID the maker and date would certainly appreciate it), and a couple of other items.
