Bob and i met this afternoon for some soggy clad hunting.

Mud everywhere around where they recently removed some concrete block houses.

My first pic shows it all to include 1-1944 merc and 2-wheats dating 46+58.

Thanks for looking everyone and i wish i had more time to reply to everyones reply`s and Posts.

But i do enjoy looking at posts when i can.

PS: Bob thank for the brass to recycle.

Super finds. That dime shines!

Good job on the mercury dime! It does get messy while hunting those muddy places :D

Bill,
You're on a silver roll Dude!!! Way to go nice looking Merc.
Was it located where Bob parked his car? ??? :tongue3:
Please tell me Bob found some silver with that Minelab today.
Did he have it turned on this time?
(Just kidding Bob. Your day is coming soon.)

Back in the mid 90's when I lived in Raleigh, I tried to get permission at Dix to hunt the property and they told me no. I am glad to see you are able to detect there now. My understanding is that the Civil War troops camped on that hill when they came through Raleigh. Any CW stuff yet? Thanks, Bryan in Wilson

Sweet Silver !

Keep @ it and HH!!

I'll take a merc any day of the week :)
