Went to the dump field couldn't be bothered with the slog field.

Dodged the thunder again, this time it clapped over my head & I clapped back only not with my hands.

Decided it wasn't wise carrying a spade, metal detector & pocket full of iron whilst in a thunder storm!

Went for cover then came back out when it was safe.

1862 Penny & a poor Roman bronze coin

Found 2 capbadges I need, no idea what LG regiment is?

A really cool spinning game piece, I will post on the whatzit site:

PUNK!

The only thing I can identify is the wing nut.

Great to see that you've got some really nice finds despite dodging the weather. Off the top of my head 'LG' could stand for the Life Guards (no - not the guys with great tans but the senior British Cavalry Regiment) ;D

Ok fine - I big enough to admit when I'm wrong :'( ;D

Do I redeem myself by telling you the wheel could be a trade badge for Movement Control Staff?
