More goodies and another What is it?

It’s my fifth time to this school. The swinging is tough and today was worse because the grass needs cutting and the dandelions are tall. Despite that, I’ve come away with something good every time I’ve been here and today was no exception.

I must be into a spot where there was a demo and possibly a fire because there’s hot rocks everywhere. For a thirty foot stretch I was digging a ton of something like a vase.

I also dug something in this area I could use some help identifying. TNet, do your thing!


Once I got out of the demo zone, I finally hit something with the shine we all crave. It put a grin on my face this morning [emoji2956]



Hope I can go six for six tomorrow!

Your second pic shows a flat spring. Curved/L-shaped.

It resembles a match case spring.

Not sure of size of the rest of the object , if it might be a cigarette case and match case , or just a match case. IF the spring is giving me the right guess.....

I was kind of thinking along those lines and yeah, there’s a clip on the top and bottom that attached the two sides. Each side of the case is 5”x3”. That “mirror” looks like it’s the same size as that raised area but it isn’t super evident how it fit on. There’s no reflection on it.

Thanks. It rang up pretty high at 66 on the ATP because of the lower K but it’s been awhile since I’ve hit 10K so I wasn’t expecting the ring. Definitely a nice surprise!

Now why didn’t I think of that? [emoji848] I was thinking a candle snuffer for some silly reason and that the cherubs and the candle piece were possibly from different pieces. Sometimes the answer is staring you in the face and you still don’t see [emoji2371]
