Noted several posts on brass heel plates, so thought I would show these. Found in this old mining camp of Rosita, CO. which was founded in the early 1870's. Completely gone by 1890.
First one measures 1 1/2" wide by 1 5/8" long.........Second very small is 1 3/16" wide and 1 5/16 long. Both Brass
Would guess they are both from ladies or kids shoes?
Hope Cannonballguy & Breezie will chime in on this.
Good hunting
