Did some computer work for a local couple we know from church. Knowing they are on a very fixed income I chose to not charge them and asked permission to detect tonight instead for the last hour of daylight. Pickins were slim as yard had been graded off 8yrs ago they told me. The husband walked with me and just kept Saying "you need to find something to make this worth your time". I explained to him that you don't always find something, that's just the way it goes. I no sooner said that and 12-47 screamed on the CTX at 9inches. Well a few minutes of digging later, 1911 barber pops out. I'm not sure who was happier, me or the homeowner! Either way, it isn't worth near what my labor was in dollars but I put priceless value on any old coins I dig out of the ground so to me it was more than worth it :)

Great Barber !! Sweet silver, congrats and HH

Very nice of you to do that for them. I can only imagine it really did make the owner happy to see you dig that. It's a nice one too. I hope to get another Barber of any denomination this season.

That was Awesome what you did!! Karma will reward you with your good deed and it won't just be that barber.
