We returned to the deeply ploughed Roman Site for 4.5 hours. We had another great result;

50 Roman Bronze Coins
2 Very Poor Roman Silver
17th C Token
1940 Sixpence
Frag of Roman Bracelet
bits
Dad got a very nice Scottish Hammered - Alexander III circa 1280 (pretty scarce for us) - He got it in a very lumpy (not yet disced) area whilst walking a plough bit to the edge! Lucky:laughing7:

So much coolness, always love your photos, Cru.

Man, I would love to find just ONE of these roman coins. Very nice finds indeed :icon_thumleft:

Did they plant those coins like seeds or what, you always find sooooo many. Great post as always

Sure the hell beats my horseshoes.... Congrats to you both. I love your posts buddy... :occasion14:

Hammered silver has got to be a welcome sight any day - especially a rare one - Nice Job !

You're really on a roll with that amount of romans you pull this year! You will set a new high score!

Very nice looking coins cru!

Nice digs and thanks for those pics

We should with the Roman silver, but we are unlikely to beat our best bronze total. 1386 was a bumper year, if all goes to plan we should get 1000-1200.

Thanks to all the other comments made.

As always - super cool finds !:notworthy:

again with the wow factor, you always have the good stuff for us to see, it may be common place for you but for most of us it is pure awesomeness history being pulled out of the ground by very knowledgeable individuals who appreciate what they find. thanks again for sharing your finds

Cheers.

Roman coins added to top.

You guys are having an incredible year on coins. Seems like you dig a boatload every time out. Keep it up!!
