More silver and gold!

[cudamark]

Went out early this morning to catch the -1.2 tide and did pretty well. $3.40 in change, a key, two earrings, and a nice beefy 10.4 gram gold ring.

almost 650 bucks melt value on the ring. That's pretty sweet

Maybe not is that FG? filled gold?

The FG on the ring is the makers mark of "Frederick Goldman", a well known jewelry brand. So it's real 14k gold.

You are probably correct. I had that backwards, GF is for gold filled, not FG. Working from memory, I don't do much jewelry.

I would get it tested... this is what I found online..

What does 14K FG mean ? Gold Fill ?

Not sure if that is the same as what yours says as I can't see that last letter.
But beautiful Ring nonetheless !!

the FG is the makers mark of "Frederick Goldman" a very common and well known jewelry brand. The ring is indeed 14k as stamped
