One of my customers and NEWEST BFF, Mark, invited me down to Oklahoma to hunt his property. The home was built in 1916, with about an acre of ground. Mark told me he has already pulled 100 coins here with his ACE 400, so I was excited about the hunt and was not disappointed.
Found (21) pennies, including (6) Wheaties, 1927, 1944, 1948, two 1951, and a 1957. Finally stumbled upon the 1908 Barber dime, about 8" deep. Rang up a 12/45. Found some more clad, headstamp, 1975 Hot Wheel, an Old Age assistance tax token, the couple pieces of lead . then hit the 1917 Mercury dime at about 4". Wahoooo, two more silvers for the year.
Great hunt, got to hunt with a great guy, (Veteran and former police officer) who I might add found his First Barber Dime today, a 1916 in excellant shape. Doesnt get any better then this.
Found both the silvers in Silver Mode, +3, Fast On, Ferrous coin.

Congrats on the great finds, and the friendship. I have found a lot of those Oklahoma Tax Tokens. I never seem to get tired of finding them. We visit our son 3 or 4 times a year. He has lived there for 18 years now.
