I have a few silver dollars to display for those interested. The oldest is 1879 in wonderful condition. All the edge marks are perfect and other than the normal patina, it appears to be perfect.

I've never taken them to a coin shop because I'm certain they will be under valued. If anyone would like to comment, I'd love the hear from you. Thank you all

Your selling them

Digger, I work at a business that gets lots of dollar coins ( Mostly Ike's and golden dollars). Every now an then a real silver dollar pops up. I'm not good at grading however some that I displayed are amazingly clean. I'm sure the collecting value will surpass the actual silver value for some of them.

Thank you for commenting.

Nice collection. Have always loved the Morgans.

Just be careful when you take a silver dollar from a young person. If they are stolen you could get it for receiving stolen property.
