Since the Sand Shark is in the shop and the AT Pro took a poop yesterday I was forced to dry sand hunt this morning. I have to tell you, those who say water hunting is hard? forget it. I'm dead after 6 hours of swinging that thing over 4 miles total. I started out gridding a specific portion of a beach. It took about and hour and a half and produced poor results. For the rest of the day a meandered in and out of lanes and umbrella isles. I found 1 piece of junk jewelry and a bunch of clad and a really cool key chain/bottle opener.

Did you find any pulltabs?

Looks like lots of digging! Clad is better than O.

Fun comes in many forms. Hunting is better than chores or work anyway. :laughing7:

what beach did you go to ?

I try not to post pictures of garbage. But rest assured I plucked many this morning.

I also find hunting on dry sand very tiring on the feet.

That's an impressive coin count!

Good luck on your next hunt, and I hope you get your detectors in tip -top working order soon.

I thought you might of had them discriminated out....thanks for the reply.

Frustrating I know, but at least your backup backup machine is working. Nice clad count.
