Probably just natural causes formed them. I thought maybe grinding basin (metate) on that one but I believe the surface would be smoother. I don't know anything about 'nutting stones', but if there were it would probably be tribes in the eastern US that used them. Kinda outa my area of knowledge. Keep looking, and yeah I would have picked those up too.

The one on the right looks to be the bottom piece of a grinding stone. JMO
