Hands and Pans on the Yuba. It was cold , there was Ice, smashed my finger, used my Garret Carrot to clean crevices and found a bunch of nails pretending to be gold, underestimated my boot height and got a cold foot. Saw bear tracks next to deer tracks. oh yea and found the best gold to date.

I had a good friend that had a claim on the Yuba River years back BUT never got around to visiting him on his claim...... He and his wife passed a few years latter . R.I.P. Wally & Linda Koz !

Nice gold brings back memories of my youth prospecting on the N. Fork of the Yuba.
