Location
Idaho
A few weeks ago we decided to dig a watering hole where a spring was just a seep alongside a game trail. I have to give my wife Barbara Jo credit for digging the hole for the most part. ( I was about to give up because of the rocks. )
The location looked promising for getting a cougar on the camera trap.. We got lots of other wildlife before the cougars showed up, and surprisingly there were four of them at the same time.

Great shots! Thanks for sharing:icon_thumleft:

Impressive shots Ron of the beautiful family of big cats.

Amazing pictures! I've been to Idaho several times but have never seen anything like this.

Thank You! I have seen a few crossing the road in front of the truck over the years. I’ve never seen one while walking in the woods.

Ron
Love those pictures
I used to know a photographer who videotaped the life of white tail deer for a year and made a documentary movie
I would be the first to get your documentary on those cats..

I assume these shot take place mostly at night. Do you keep track of what times these animals trigger the camera trap?

Yes, mostly at night but not always... I copied and pasted the shooting info for the first image when these four cats arrived at the watering hole. It records the date and time.... They stayed for 3 1/2 minutes and triggered the camera 42 times, with about 12 or 14 useable pictures.
