My wife and I went to see this movie today and I got to say it's a must see movie ! We both really liked it a lot !

I wrote a book report about the original story many years ago while in elementary school. Hand drawn pictures to boot.
Lost along with everything else in the great flood of 1964 here in the northwest.

Be be fun to see the movie.

Saw one with Ethan Hawke a few years ago that was great, this is a story I've read many times.....

The one with Ethan hawk is good. More accurate as Harrison Ford is about thirty years older than John Thornton is portrayed in the book.

It will be super good if they involve all the dogs and the full story of the book.

The Ethan hawk version was very condensed.

It was a great movie. There were only a couple times when you could tell the dog was CGI.
Only caught 2 bloopers...There are no wild boar or fireflies in Alaska

It is a little too disney-like for my taste but wholesome family entertainment.

I took my 6 yr old daughter to see it. Decent movie but the CGI was a turn off for me. She liked it and it held her interest so that's a bonus! Overall I would say a decent movie but not one I would drop the coin on to see again.
