Moving day can't stop my addiction silvers 34 & 35

Ok guys, today was the big move to the new house, what a long and hottttttt day we picked to move! Finally wrapped everything up at 830 and had a tiny bit of sunlight to hit the yard again. This time I tried along the edges of the driveway and it paid off with a 1959 roosie, 43 merc, gold looking heart thingy and a little bit of junk. This yards gonna be my quick fix detecting spot when OldDude doesn't invite me out lol jk dave:laughing7: Thanks for looking and hh!! 20140628_211605.webp20140628_211312_resized.webp

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

Silver in your own yard, don't get much better then that! Good luck on your new home.

Nice finds!

Thanks! House was built in the 1910s and the lot is 40x250. The driveway has a stamp from Aug 1948 so I figured I'd try the edges of that and it worked out. I have a bag full of junk from the yard that I'm gonna keep too, kinda a way to show how much junk I dig here

it is an addicting sport that is for sure, we will be having three of our grand children for the next four days, which sounds great in one way but not so in another. Metal detecting is too slow and boring for them at this point, so I will be counting the hours until I am able to slip off for a quick hunt or so. The hardest part is that we have had several rains the last couple of days that has dampened the "dirt" for somewhat easier digging, one hot day and its back to concrete! LOL I too hope that your house is blessed and that it quickly becomes Home to all.

Yes absolutely, lately haven't got out much and I can tell, I get frustrated when I don't get to go lol

Congrats on another silver day to you. I echo the good wishes for blessings and happiness for the whole family Chris.
