Moving to North Carolina

So i am moving to North Carolina i will be working at MCAS Cherry Point and living in New Bern anyone know of any cool places to dig around thar area, i know i will be just combing Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, and Pine Knoll Shores for sure.
