Muddy Hat Trick!

Hello all, its been a long time. Decided to hit the mud on Super Bowl Sunday and I'm glad I did! Got three rings. Two gold and one heart breaker stainless. Got all kinds of goodies very deep. Then I came home to watch the Pats eke out a victory!

Nice hunt. Question is, were do you find mud this time of the year in Mass?

Those spoons just keep coming. Maybe that was a popular picnic spot? I'm guessing it was beautiful sand at one point. Now it is covered with a foot of the stinkiest mud and silt! Tough, slow digging. The mud is always getting stuck inside the scoop. One of the spoons is stamped 1881.

Lost and found, lots of mud north and south of Boston. Minus tides will expose it. This type of digging is not for everyone! You need to be careful out there. A couple of times I went in mud up over my shins! It can be scary. Hunt with a buddy.

OMG! Fenway, that hunt was as great as the final seconds of the Super Bowl! ..and I'm sure just as exciting!
