Multiple Silver found in Reject Slot!

So i went to the dump bank and found a silver quarter and 2 silver dimes!

1 silver dimes was a 1944 Merc!!!

However, i dumped 300$ and the machine counted 236$ - the lady took my number and said she would get the coins counted [it count 20$ of dimes in pennies]
(happened before and they gave me the credit back)

This is one reason why I am cutting down on my dimes volume.. The miscounts are ridiculous.. It makes you wonder how much profit they make from miscounts alone

That's why i dump my pennies separate from dimes. That way if there's a problem of the machine counting dimes for pennies it's easier to justify. Never had an issue with doing it this way.

On a recent dumping excursion ridding my dimes & halves, my ticket shown 238 cents when I hardly had any (maybe a few the most). I brought it up & suggested we looked into the cent bags. We checked but there wasn't any dimes in there so I chalked it up as extra cents in the machine before me. At least I hoped they were extra...

Great Find, Congrats! Free silver is even better than face value. What was the years of the other dime & the quarter? Also do any of them have a mint mark on them? If they don't have mint marks, they are Philadelphia minted coins. Good luck with the shortage.

238 cents would be a lot to have stuck from the previous owner. 5-10 yes, but 238, no.
